  • Web series structure

Ive recently been in contact with a produced regarding a TV length pilot that Ive wrote - the idea was to structure it as TV but to release it in bite size web series episodes, the producer suggested it would be more efficient to cut down the idea into a 7-10 minute normal web series episode, having mainly worked on feature scripts as it is I'm curious as to how people structure these? I need set up conflict and resolution in such a short amount of time, anyone had experience on writing these?

    Thanks people

The Slack/Garfinkel in episode #5 of 3rd & Fairfax is about taking an hour length pilot and turning it into a web series.

Just my 2 cents, your mileage may vary.

Dan Williams took his hour-long pilot and turned it into a pretty successful web series. He wrote a book about it here: http://www.amazon.com/Web-TV-Series-.../dp/1842437852
