  • Question about physical presentation (packaging) of script

So it seems everyone has a slightly different answer on the packaging of a script that you send out. Some tell me to use the method: Blank cardstock cover, Title page, script, blank cardstock cover.

However others have told me to actually print the title page on the top cardstock cover instead of being a separate entity.

Last, I was also told that cardstock covers may be going out of style and to just bind the script with just the title page as the top.

Can anyone give me a conclusive answer or are they all right?

    Thanks,

    Zack

did you get a request for a hard copy of a script?? I didn't think anyone does that anymore...Benderspink might still do it?

email has been the standard for 99% of the time for me. I've sent one hard copy out in 3 years.

      Ya i was.

It was a request from a producer. She wants a hard copy and an emailed copy.

So i just want to send it in the right format or standard, so that I seem professional.

Both the Hollywood Standard and the Screenwriter's Bible have examples of a paper script. I think there is one in Save the Cat also.
Maybe someone knows where there is one on the web.
