It could depend on how far up the chain it's submitted, but generally studios have a team of development execs (as well as current execs) and most development projects circulate among them, but yes, the people with the big title decide what gets bought. Lower execs can read and help champion something up the ranks but that's usually all they can do.

So we've been in at multiple studios now for almost 3 weeks and still no response in terms of yes let's hear the pitch or no it's not for us. Is this normal for those of you that have had pilots/ bibles go in to studios?
