It's been long enough for a fresh take. Here's hoping there's some bite to it.

It'd be good if he's a biting dark satirical comedian, a Jon Stewart guy suddenly thrust into deciding power and politics instead of merely commenting it, etc. But I'm cringing thinking about a bad kind of Robin Williams schtick ...

Nanu nanu, I'm the Prayzeedenture!

Have you seen the Robin Williams "Peter Pan" movie called HOOK?

If I were Williams, I wouldn't let anyone in my employ even say the word "hook" anymore, for fear it'll bring back memories of that movie.

If this one has a skateboard in it or anywhere near it, I'm a stay away.

Fact is stranger than fiction.

How would "Mi Negra" fare as an electoral policy in the USA?

And "Dave" was a fantastic movie, with a first rate script!

Magichost is right. The voters chose Al Gore, whose stint on Saturday Night Live was comedy gold. So it's been done.

Get outta here. You can strain credulity to a point, but only to a point. The movie-going public ain't buying THAT.
