Takes ten episodes to figure out which end of the pool he's in?

Anybody watching this? I have two eps left and have been really enjoying it so far. Starts off slow, but things pick up nicely halfway. I love the actor playing Kublai Khan, as well as the guy playing Chancellor Jia Sidao. Joan Chen is amazing, as always, and Hundred Eyes is just badass.

In fact, the supporting characters are way more interesting and have more depth than the lead. His character seems almost inconsequential and really doesn't drive much of the action. But I guess they needed a white guy for us Westerners.

I'm a fan-- binge watched on Day 1... great behind the scenes story from Harvey on how they got 90M in production value out of a 40M spend.
