firstinitiallastname@moritzfilm.com

You'll need to submit via a lawyer, agent or manager

I quote from an email they sent me:

"we are not able to receive unsolicited material under any circumstances -
it needs to come from an agent, manager or a lawyer"

I did, too. (It's not the same woman, though.) In fact I taught the daughters. One went on to run the biggest call-girl service in the world (and served time for it), the other's first project was, at the tender age of 13, to be featured (dressed) in a porn flick.

And the woman's claim to fame is that she discovered, almost by the way, a certain A-list actor famous for both his movies and his private life.

How about becoming a "manager"??? You don't need any licenses, permits, bonds, ect. to become a "manager". Plus, there are so many "managers" that operate out of their homes...that it's impossible for the studios & producers to keep up with all of them.

It wouldn't. Unless you had contacts and actually knew people.

Not exactly. Most everyone knows the respected managers -- you know, the ones who can actually submit a script to a company with enough clout that it goes in the read pile. But I suppose it could work with a smaller or never heard of production company, although, that brings the question, if a never heard of manager can submit a script to them, then probably a never heard of writer could to.

It's easier and quicker to find a lawyer and pay him to submit the script. I submitted via a UK lawyer who never read the script. It was just a business transaction. I paid, they submitted. US Prod. co.'s had no problem with this.

The problem with attys, is that they want a shytload of 'cheddah' to submit....that is, if they're willing to do that in the first place.

Before I was picked up by a new rep, my attorney (entertainment lawyer based in L.A.) charged me $35 per script to send. Money well spent, I always thought.
