I think it'd be awesome if someone did this, maybe on Done Deal? Allow other writers to read and evaluate each other's scripts. If enough people did it, it might garner a following. For the people, by the people.

Just venting a bit but I got this today from BL reviewer - "Overall, the script tended to feel cliche, saccharine and superficial." -- that cost me $75 + $25, for all I know from someone who has never written a screenplay. I don't need this &*% and I certainly don't need to pay $100 for it...

Maybe next time I'll try this (below) for a little more and get to choose my reviewer and know that at least one actual industry pro read it. (I have no affiliation with this group). Again, just in a bad mood and venting ;-)

This is quite literally impossible. If you believe this to still be the case, please email customer service again and specifically reference this interaction. I'll look into it personally and take the appropriate action.

Your decision, but I suspect that your claim that we're wrongly refusing a reimbursement isn't accurate. If you're willing to publicly walk everyone through the play by play and I'm wrong, I'll happily comp you a month of free hosting and a free evaluation.

Your claim is that we "charged my card $200 but returned only $125 and refused to admit their mistake." Surely you have the correspondence with customer service to that effect to share as well?

Yes..I sent them these photos..and I have no other proof besides my bank statement.. And here is a message from Alexander ---Thank you for your patience. Our CTO has confirmed that all three evaluations were successfully issued on our end and recommends you contact your bank/card provider if the remaining $75 has yet to post. Please let me know if they require any additional information from us.

P.S Is there a problem with my bank? Possible

Do you mean evaluations or refunds?

Franklin, I just quoted the message from Alexander. I'm sure we'll be able to fix this situation..It just takes some time..

P.S In general, I like the idea of Blcklst website (I wish that it was a small boutique online agency for unknown freshvoicers) but a few things stop me from giving it a try.

                            1) I'm affraid that readers will be able to detect that the script is written by a foreign writer with a foreign mentality (fyi...all of my scripts are proofread and edited by top linguist specialists. I'm talking about some other nuances ) I'm sure that American reviewers don't tolerate too much foreign stuff.. from non-American culture..(or English -speaking world)

                            2) The scripts are jugded (most likely) by readers who are not extremely talented in a visual media and that's why are not able to visualize one script as a movie. Most of them read it as if it was a product of literature..

Of course, I assume that Blcklst reviewers might be the top-class ones but I'm probably just not good for this site..

                            Sincerely,

                            Turbo -Euro

Hey AE-35 congrats in the scores. Checked the Black List but didn't see it-- what's the title?

                              Good luck with the Nicholl!
