There aren't a lot of "thrillers" where the hero is a good guy who is forced to do bad things to good people and dies in the end.
That could mean one of two things. 1. Your script will stand out and be unique. 2. There isn't much appetite for that kind of story in HW or from the movie going public.
Of course everything depends on treatment and how it is executed, but if I had to pick which one I thought it was - my money would be on number two. But that's just my gut reaction and my gut has been wrong before.
I hear you Deus--and yes, I agree with your gut, no hollywood appetite probably.
that's why I was curious to know if there were any hollywood movie in the past ten years with that premise.
although it's a psychological thriller where a damaged person kills bad people and then dies at the end, but in the process the co-star learns a lesson.
