Interesting. After sending out queries I got several v. nice read requests, but what made me wonder is that I never got requests from two agents or managers at the same company.
Is it a coincidence, or does an agent notify others from the same house that he's reading something? And also: if an agent passes after reading, does it make sense to query others in his company, or does he/she spread the news the script's not worth it? |

This begs the question what to do when an agent requests a read as another from the same company already has the script. |

There's a bit of debate about that. Some say as a courtesy you should advise that someone from the same firm is reading. I personally think you should just send it without mentioning it. One agent/manager's reaction to certain material may be completely different to another regardless whether they are at the same firm.
