Default Smaller Producers accepting new submissions?

This may have been covered here before, but does anyone know of a web resource that lists smaller (but well-connected) producers who will look at new material? Any suggestions of reputable producers looking for a true life aviation adventure story? Female owned shops would be a plus.

I don't know of a specific site, but the CS Weekly newsletter has a new production company lead every week. Since these are prodcos that accept unsolicited queries, they're all small. Of course, there's also the InkTip newsletter, but those are usually very low budget.

Aviator Dan,

You could try Tony Bill at Barnstorm Films. They are always receptive to new writers and I believe Mr. Bill is an aviation buff.

Nice thought re: Tony Bill, but probably a waste of time. Tony and Barnstorm are knee-deep in a $60 million aviation film set for release next year.

"Flyboys" is about the Lafayette Escadrille -- a squadron of American volunteers flying for France during WWI.
