  • How do you lessen description when there is no dialogue

We are working on a dramatic pilot. Thanks to THE SCREENPLAY MECHANIC, we are making good progress. However, we still write too much decsription, says the Mechanic and all who read our script.

So, how do you write a Teaser that's all action/visual except for a couple of lines, without writing is as Action? So that the reader keeps reading it...

    Thanks.

I'd guess they don't mean 'don't write action', they mean 'use fewer words'.

Want to post a chunk for the masses to butcher?

            What Bill said.

I have a problem of writing too much because I don't know the right word that expresses the action/emotion. It's frustrating as hell to sit there thinking of a word. One goddamn word.
Thank you for reading my opinion.
