  • Getting an animated tv show repped/managed

Hello everyone. So, yeah, we have a concept for a show in the Family Guy, South Park vein.

Of course we think its a great concept and fun characters. It always gets a good response from viewers in the key demographic. There are clips up on youtube, and every other video hosting side out there. There is a webpage (zoothis.com) for those interested.

We have some pretty decently polished scripts to show. The writers/producers come from an independent feature background, so all this the TV network/animation is new territory for us.

How would you guys reccommend getting some buzz/attention/ins with agents or managers or tv execs? Traditional query route?

    If so, to whom?

    Or?

We entered a clip into a competition for FOX (supposedly Fox executives picked the winners which were... shall we say...unmarketable as series). Even though we were one of the most watched and highly rated, we didnt get selected. So that killed generating buzz that way. Its about to start hitting the festival circuit over the next few months.

So, very open to any ideas anyone may have on getting it to the right poeple.

    Thanks.

One thing you can do is look up who reps the writers for Fox animated shows, Nick animated shows, Cartoon Network shows.

    Query these reps.
