I got a "Looking forward to the read" request from Circle of Confusion. If you've ever submitted to them, did you send a hard copy or PDF? Thanks!

They let me choose. I've chosen to submit a PDF.

    Easier. Faster. Cheaper.

      Re: Circle of Confusion

They made me send a hard copy last month. Not that I mind.

Are you asking what you should send? If I got an email from anyone asking for a read as just a quick one line "Cool! Send it!" thing, I'd just reply and send the pdf. Worst thing is they'll ask you to send a hard copy/fax a release/or something. They won't hold it against you.

If you don't mind my asking, how did it go with them?

They passed about a month later. Actually sent an email instead of silent death, for whatever that's worth.

              Re: Circle of Confusion

They've usually asked me to sign a release form in the past. I usually scan mine in. Not that was your question in the first place, but yes, PDF.

                  Re: Circle of Confusion

Thanks guys! I'm a thriller chick. The query I sent Circle is in the vein of Hitchcock's SHADOW OF A DOUBT.

I'm currently writing a script for their production arm. We've only worked with pdfs. And, by the way, they are great people to work with.

Agreed. I signed with them in 2007 and have been very happy there.

Just signed with them. so far they seem very enthusiastic as well as realistic.
                        Hoping for a great year.

I sent it... fingers crossed! I queried them in September, didn't hear back - figured they weren't interested & forgot about it, then got the email the day after my birthday.
