Biohazard reminds me of Morris the Cat.

A bunch more reviews for this coming out of an early screening, all of them over the top positive.

                  Two more: Benjamin Button.

That movie should have came with vomit bags, it was so awful.

                    Re: The SOCIAL NETWORK

Read the script and it was fine for the material. Far from a compelling story on paper. Should be interesting what David Fincher does with the material. It does not seem like his territory. There's nothing gothic, or thriller-oriented about the story. David Zuckerberg is not a dark, tormented character. FB, as least as I know it, doesn't have a noirish, seemy underbelly with heinous, murderous goings on. I know there's no reason Fincher can't explore other genres. I'll bet the movie will do okay, but again the story's not that compelling. It has the resonance of a great article in the New Yorker, but that's about it.

When this trailer played at the Arclight the guy next to me said "they made a movie about facebook? why?" ... my feelings exactly.

                              Re: The SOCIAL NETWORK

I haven't read the script, but on paper Fincher/Sorkin seems like the best of both worlds. Fincher is known for his visual dynamism, often at the expense of stuff like plot, character, dialogue. Sorkin is known for his plot, character, dialogue, often at the expense of stuff like visual dynamism.

And to the people saying it's just about Facebook, etc, who cares? Before 2006 it didn't exist. In 2010, 1 in 14 people on this planet use Facebook, so it seems, I dunno, topical, no? But besides that, a story like this could be about anyone who rises to a position of incredible power and ****s people over to get there. That's the drama, not the surface concern that it's "just about Facebook".

Anyway, I'm interested, and I didn't think much of BENJAMIN BUTTON either. Or PANIC ROOM for that matter. But ZODIAC, FIGHT CLUB, THE GAME and SEVEN are all great and I don't hate ALIEN 3 as much as most. Fincher has earned my automatic interest with everything he does, even though I think his upcoming GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO remake is totally perfunctory.

"Pieces form the whole" is awesome. The rest are not bad either. I'll be getting this.

If there's ever a BLADE RUNNER sequel that comes out, Trent Reznor would be perfect for it.
