I was just reading Michael Ray Brown's (Story Sense) formatting guide and he writes:
How does that look like in practice?
Then I check this out
http://www.screenwriting.info/10.php
and it states:
Why would someone write that? What is the reasoning?
The use of "FADE OUT.- in conjunction with "FADE IN:- can be combined as "FADE TO:-, a single instruction that takes up less space.
Then I check this out
http://www.screenwriting.info/10.php
and it states:
FADE OUT (never at the end of the script)
