they have a fiduciary duty to represent you. they will make 10% on what you sell. they're not making 10% on what other writers that have fired them. many will need to have a continued revenue flow.
it's your choice. you could choose to tell them up front if they haven't signed the CoC by the time you get your membership that you support the WGA that you will have to fire them once you are granted current membership.
but they (your agents) will still get paid on the staffing job they get you on and any deals they initiate before your get your membership. members are allowed under Rule 23 to continue to work with their agents on current deals already initiated prior to the deadline. it's only NEW deals that they cannot rep them for.
