How long is a piece of string?

The original was made before I was born, and then it was banned in Britain.
As for putting parents to blame: who ever mentioned that my parents were aware I was watching it whilst round a mate's place? And yes, I was more like 10 than 6.

For me, the original was unrealistic and the acting poor; I watched Evil Dead 2 about a year later and it freked me out! It wasn't the horror, rather, the schitzo demonic bitch in the basement chanting "Dead by dawn" that did it.

Last House on the Left was supposed to shock and failed. Casino was supposed to be fvcking nasty in that baseball bat scene and succeeded!
Bill mentioned how something seen cannot be unseen and that's what that baseball bat thing was for me.
Hostel was plain nasty but unrealistic, so didn't turn my stomach or haunt me in the least.

One programme I do find disturbing is Crash: it's ugly disguised as drama, full of realistic random beatings. It's the most fvcked up sh*t on television; not even the whore-fest of Sex and the City competes to this ugliness.

So yeah, perhaps different things just shock or disturb different people - some can't stand animals being hurt, with others it's kids, or it's rape, or it's tacky, old sluts trying to hip.
    Cufk, Tish, Sips.
