Those of you who are familiar my posts on the board throughout the years know that I deal with PDF a lot and have had some things to say about drivers.
For years I have recommended PrimoPDF (free). I will still say that it is all right, but I have run into a problem. Essentially, it is this. If you create a PDF with it and then try to open the PDF in Fade In, any em-dashes like - will be lost. I think that this has to do with ANSI vs Unicode, and I will not say any more about that issue.
I am now recommending Bullzip as my preferred free PDF driver. Bullzip seems to work very well and is easy to use. I am also able to open a Bullzip PDF in Fade In without losing the em-dash.
That is all.
