  • Professions that examine the past?

    Any ideas of careers or professions that are based on studying the past? Besides a forensics expert (possibly), a detective or archeologist?
    One must be fearless and tenacious when pursuing their dreams. If you don't, regret will be your reward.

        Depending on the kind of past, what kind of research, and how long ago:

        Librarian, geologist, auctioneer, religious scholar, vulcanologist, astronomer, psychologist, investor, ancestry researcher, anthropologist, criminologist, writer, the folks who fact-check for films (can't remember their titles at the moment), lawyer, judge, museum staff, authentication expert, war-crime hunters, and sociologist.

            Some artists, set designers, costume designers, hair and make-up experts, prop men, pickers, auctioneers, pawn shop owners, collectors, political scientists, preachers and propagandists looking for evidence supporting their point of view.
