I agree with Cutter Rug.
It takes a lot more than luck to break into this biz, or even come within a hair's reach... and still not break in.
In my opinion, attributing everything to luck is for lazy people who don't want to do the hard work it takes to be able to capitalize on an opportunity if it should come around.
JayKid, you're about to graduate college... Which is the end of a four-year long journey... And you probably don't want to hear the "W" word anymore. But this is the real world, now.
If you want to compete with the thousands... And this time this is not an exaggerated statistic... Of other aspiring screenwriters and film makers who are working their asses off so they can grab the brass ring when it comes around, you're going to have to do a lot better than attribute their successes to something as random as luck...
