It's over, my friend. Win some, lose many. Onward and upward, pal.

Maybe there's a way for you to inquire, mentioning your past open-door relationship, etc.; it's a long shot, but you don't really have anything to lose.

No, dude. That is a polite, "don't call us, we'll call you."

I don't see how anyone could delude themselves into thinking anything but. (don't mean you specifically, i'm speaking generically.)

Ambler baby, I FEEL BLOWN OFF by that one. HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU girlfriend. but btw, how about providing his/her name so one of us has a shot to replace you?

Exactly. Seems clear as day to me.

Thanks for all the replies. I am in agreement with you and am moving on (he will be sorry). I have a couple other major connections anyway. One with the friend of a well known star, and the other with a producer who is a friend of a friend.

I didn't read the entire thread, but I think it's safe to say: if you have to ask, then you already have the answer.

Actually name dropping with names is lame. I don't feel the need to brag about WHO it is, but I am sharing my situation to it's necessary to mention this stuff. Jealousy is bad form. Or maybe you're just an a-hole, I can't tell.
