  • Drop Dead Hollywood

Is this what Hollywood is reduced to, remaking films that were flops the first time around (DROP DEAD FRED).

Makes more sense to remake bad films and get them right than remake great films and **** them up.

      Both of you are right.

To me, Russell is like Sacha -- much better in small doses rather than as the lead in a full-length film.

I feel a groaner coming on when they announce the lead actress.

Brand is also remaking 'Arthur', yet another film that doesn't need to be remade. I'm glad Dudley Moore won't have to witness that. Remember the horror that was the remake of 'Bedazzled'? God, that was nasty.

Is anyone clamoring for a remake of DROP DEAD FRED? Or ARTHUR?

          NO!

And I hereby declare publically that if I ever come into contact with Russell Brand I intend to murder him and serve a life sentence for it..

I CAN NOT STAND THAT A$$HOLE!!!!!!!

I wish he would f*ck off and die!!

Brand needs to disappear. Like forever.

The public gets what they ask for.

You want better movies... start going to see the good ones that come out.

Why are we even bothering writing original screenplays if Hollywood wants to recycle the same crap over and over and over again???

When I first saw this thought WTF? When I saw Russell Brand's name, it actually kind of made sense. Not that I'm buying any tickets on fandango... But it didn't seem nearly as random as I originally thought.

Rick Mayall was great in "The Young Ones". He stunk it up in DDF. I hate to be negative, but c'mon, what are these people thinking? Like stated above, remaking flops.

A remake of Drop Dead Fred?

Could NOT believe this when I saw it. If this is possible, HOWARD THE DUCK can't be far off.

exactly... try going to a Soloist once in awhile instead of always waiting to see Fast & Furious 6 (even though I am writing Fast & Furious 9 haha)

This totally validates my current project; "ISHTAR 2.0."
