Default Production companies/Producers interested in low/mid-budget Sci Fi

Hey all. I'm just about ready to start the query process for a low-mid budget Sci Fi/Drama. I have some producers and companies in mind already, but would love to have some names dropped here if any one has any leads, advice or experience trying to get their Sci Fi out there.

I'm afraid I can not disclose any details about the story itself, but for the most part is contained in just a handful of locations (Not taken place on Earth) and revolves around one character dealing with a personal crisis. There are no aliens, explosions, robots etc..

Think something along the lines of "MOON" by Duncan Jones as far as the crisis and isolation element. (Not taken place on the Moon either)

Looking forward to your posts and input.

Apologies this might not be quite what you're looking for, but the answer is-

Just about all of them.

The main ones anyway. You might get a few who focus only on comedy or low budget horror, but if you target any of the 50 or so prodcos who don't specialize and have Sci-Fi in their back catalogue, you'll be fine.

Grounded medium budget Sci-Fi is the way to go at the moment. As long as you haven't written a huge balloon-budget CGI epic, you're good to go.

No apologies needed. I hear you loud and clear and agree with you fully. Just thought I'd see if anyone specifically has had good experiences with whomever. I really like your term huge balloon-budget too, ha. Mine is far from a huge balloon, but at the very most a medium sized balloon, which is already striking up much interest in some of the conversations I have been having about it. Definitely feeling good vibes with this one.

Thanks for your post.
