Post Abbolita Productions

Hi everyone,

I was researching some production companies to query and came across Abbolita Productions. They're credited with two films on IMDb, LIFE OF CRIME and LIFE AFTER BETH.

When I visited their website, there was nothing there except a form to leave a comment and/or submit a script.

What are your thoughts regarding the safety of sending in a script to a company so open to script submissions?

One of my concerns is that in most cases, sending a message through a form on a website doesn't usually leave you with any proof that you messaged them in the first place (or that you sent in a script), unless they reply back to you.

Abbolita Productions IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/company/co0419092/
Abbolita Productions website: http://www.abbolita.com

Thanks in advance for any comments!

About the track of messages, you can try sending them an email through something like info@abbolita.com or contact@abbolita.com or something like that. If it don't bounce back, then you have proof you send them the email.
Querying someone never hurts. Send them just your query and wait to see if you want to send the full script if/when they answer you. Once I queried a guy who didn't even have an Imdb to see if his answer would be something alike the other more "trustable". It wasn't. He didn't include any mean to contact him but an email and everything he wrote sounded like something a lazy teenager would write while talking with friends. I ran away as fast as could, never sent him anything.
That's my advice: querying never hurts, but be always ready to run away if you need to.
I hope I was useful!

Sorry for the slow response. Just wanted to say thanks for the advice and for the heads up!
