In a recent nerdist podcast, one working TV writer had FIVE seasons mapped/planned out (no idea how much detail, though) for a pilot he'd written, a pilot that, of course, did not sell.

But with another pilot he wrote, he hadn't a clue as to what came next, and that's the one he sold.

But that's not the same as five episodes written. You can't throw out a crazy statement like that and not back it up with the reference. I'm behind on the Nerdist panels, but I'll keep an ear out for what you're talking about.

I know we're not supposed to request scripts here so like, if anyone has a copy of a pro treatment/bible PM me so I can ask you about something completely unrelated.

Thread hijack complete.

Judd Apatow's Bible for "Freaks and Geeks" is available online for free. Just do a Google search. It's seriously over-detailed, but very entertaining.

The bible for David Simon's "The Wire" is also out there and it's fun to read if you're a fan of the show. There are some interesting differences between that doc and what originally ended up on the air (e.g., Stringer Bell's original name was supposed to be Stringy Bell).

Not sure if this is kosher around here ( apologies to mods in advance) but this link has a cross section of Tv show bible samples.

https://sites.google.com/site/tvwriting/bibles

Hope it helps.

Finding the arcs/mythology document for Terra Nova pretty interesting. Thanks for the post.
