additionally, i'm not certain the "pitch deck and script" applies to writers as the header is listed as "Writers, Producers, & Directors. for example, the reel submission wouldn't necessarily apply to a writer with a spec.

also, from what i can see on IMDBpro they have:
3 in post
1 filming
2 in pre-prod
3 pitches
5 scripts in dev

Atlas Uprising - listed at $133mm budget
Dredgewood TV series (doesn't look like it's picked up?)

idk, i might do a little more research on the team before disregarding them all together.
Ahhh...

Like I say: Don't listen to me. I'm an idiot.

I'm probably too skeptical for my own good.

I considered that I might regret passing on them but it's done now. If they would turn out to be my only way in then maybe I wouldn't be cut out for this anyway. They were friendly enough but I got a weird vibe.

On a side note I got read requests today from energy entertainment, cul-ti-vate management, and a woman from universal. At 6 total now from the query blast. Feels pretty exciting but I know better than to get my hopes up yet.

Brooklyn and thank you. It's hard (as all of you know) to get read as a nobody. The even worse part is that probably 2/3 (quite possibly more) of the people who requested it won't dig it. It is what it is though. I really need to work on patience.

I came across these "pitch decks" via somebody in LinkedIn (Christine Coggins), and I remember seeing a question about "what is one" here in DDPro, so:

Coggins Pitch Decks

They're marketing/summary tools, as others have said.

^Thanks for that. A nice resource. Doesn't hurt to know how to make one I suppose.
