  • Why are my page numbers a different font?

    FD 8.

No real desire to update, what I have is fine.

But the bloody bugger formats my page numbers in something not-courier and I can't figure out how to change it.

Anyone with info? I thank you in advance.

To change the font for Headers, Footers:

That Final Draft article is, of course, correct. But it makes the whole process seem complicated.

In Windows, you have three easy steps, and you can easily figure out everything else, because it is right there before you in the usual dialogs. The following is for Final Draft 10, but it is similar or the same in earlier versions.
        1. FORMAT > Element Settings

        2. DOCUMENT > Header and Footer

        3. DOCUMENT > Mores and Continueds
The only thing that is not obvious is that in Step 2 you have to select the placeholders in the Header and then choose a font for them. You can select the placeholders with the mouse or with Ctrl+A.
