    If you think that's what is going on here you're missing the point.

    The thing is, if you need to spread out an argument/whatever over several locations to make it more interesting by making it more visual, the problem is not that the first location is not visual enough. The problem is with the dialogue.

      maybe i'm wrong, but from what i gather the point is to keep things moving forward. if the scene seems tired and you're using dialogue to keep it interesting then it sounds like you (rhetorical you) need to get things moving.
