I love it when women rule the world.

I can only imagine what the reaction would be if the roles were reversed...
"My husband, the big shot agent..."

Sorry, Dog...couldn't help wonder. In your case, you've proven to have the writing chops and won't be accused of being a trophy husband.

Maybe you would have an easier time contacting Katie Holme's agent.

Tell you what, toss my name around in your circles and I'll toss yours around in mine.

No, actually. Briefly meeting someone a couple of times is not the same as knowing them and I've never met Oliver Stone. It was a joke, name-dropping to give advice about name-dropping. Never mind... Note to self: brush up on irony.

It's impossible not to name drop in a thread about Tom Cruise. If you offer an example, it will have to be about some movie star's production company or movie star, right? And you get in a damned if you do/don't thing - if you post "I was in the office of an A list star's production company and..." you look like you're even more full of sh!t.

You can nitpick and snipe, but none of that is answering the Really Stupid Question. Let's not lose focus!

Become a Scientologist.

I think only writers truly understand that statement because what we do, we do alone, at a desk, and everybody has to be quiet.

Damn, I'm so close. So close! But being an actual scientist probably doesn't count does it? Maybe I could think of a way to spin it?

Dear Mr. Cruise,

Hi, I'm a rocket scientologist and have a script that's perfect for you!!!

Sincerely,
John
