Default Producer Lucas Foster - Warp Films

Hi:

I received an email from him requesting my screenplay (after submitting a query with logline).

His production company is WarpFilms and I believe he was involved with the film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and "Fantasy Island."

Has anyone had dealings with him and if so, what was your experience?

Any info appreciated.

Thanks
RIch

Good guy. He produced Law Abiding Citizen, Jumper, and Man on Fire as well. Currently I think they're doing the Michael Mann Ferrari pic.

No first-look but clearly not a no-name producer.

Levenger:

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Would you know what his average response time is after sending submissions?

Thanks

It will take a while, but you're in good hands. He used to work for Bruckheimer, despite his own resume speaking for itself.

I recall it taking a few months to hear back, myself. (Many moons ago.)

Everyone:

Thanks for the information. I'm really looking forward to his response as I've had positive reception to the work. Hopefully, he'll have some good critique in s few months.

I just received an email from Mr. Foster after I sent him a query earlier. He said to send my script to his assistant Greg (which is great for me), but aren't they supposed to send me some kind of release form to fill out first before I send the script directly to them? As a safeguard kind of thing?

I didn't sign a release form either but it's not uncommon. Some do, some don't. I'm told he's a very well respected producer.
