Mintclub, that's really useful to hear, thank you. The US manager did indeed suggest this as a first step, and the UK agent has confirmed their solicitors will look at it. I am with one of the bigger UK agencies you listed.
Interested to hear you have a US agent as well. I don't currently as I didn't feel the need and didn't want to breach the spirit (or the letter) of the WGA dispute (about which I understand very little). I had an offer to sign with an agent at one of the "big four" but didn't take it up. Should I be seeking a rep at one of the COC signatory agencies? I'm happy with the manager so don't really see the need but am I missing something?
If your manager/s are working hard for you, getting you meetings, putting your work under the noses of execs and introducing you to new fans in the US then I wouldn't worry about bringing an agent into the fold, unless it's something the rest of your team feel will help.
