No, I'm not asking anyone here for a recommendation, don't worry
My question is this: do they generally require the recommendations to be from a "higher-up" at a reputable production company/agency/network?
I'll admit my contacts in the industry are not exactly remarkable, but I have a few people in mind who do in fact work in the industry in some capacity (one a who has worked as a movie script-reader for basically all of the big production companies and the others are lower-level employees at management companies -- no, not mailroom workers or assistants ). I was wondering if it's even worth it to get a last-minute rec in order or to just move on.
Thanks in advance.
