  • Jesse Eisenberg cast as Lex Luthor - Batman Vs. Superman

    "We said Heisenberg, not Eisenberg!"

I love Jesse. This casting was way out of left field, but I can't see him doing a bad job with the role.
Teach me a fact and I'll learn.
Tell me the truth and I'll believe.
Tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.

Apparently Shia Labeouf was considered too unsettling for the role...

They approached Shia, but he was busy writing Mario Puzo's The Godfather.

What a missed opportunity to cast Bieber.
I'm never wrong. Reality is just stubborn.

it stoked my interest in seeing the film. Didn't kevin "waaaah" smith (kidding, love the guy) write a superman/ batman script once a time ago?

He wrote an early draft of "Superman Returns".

Eisenberg is the curveball here, and it's going to be interesting.

                            Thanks, Ire.

I learned it from the late, great Steve Sobel. His approach to filmmaking with NFL Films set the standard for sports filmmaking.
