  • James Garner R.I.P

I can't think of many actors who could get a thread in both "film" and "television" listing their extensive work in both mediums.

There are too many memories for me of this very decent man, and one hella actor, to even begin to list them.

Godspeed Mr. Jim, and thanks for having graced us.

One of my all time favorites. Have seen every episode of the ROCKFORD FILES. And many of his movies.

Seems tame now, but what he did with VICTOR VICTORIA - the man was ahead of his time. xoxoxox

His early days as Brett Maverick are my best memories of James Garner. Maverick was our favorite show. If you can find a copy of his book, Poker According to Maverick, snatch it up. One of his rules: Never play poker with women. They will ask "Can't you give the money back?"
