  • Escape Movies For The Pandemic

It's been a long time since I've posted here and this post is more than a little late, but maybe better late than never (In Chicago, we are still on a shelter in place order.)

Do you have any movies that literally take you away? Comedies, fantasy, historical etc. which could or have helped you forget about your troubles, i.e., our troubles as it were?

    Mine:

    Jaws
    Alien
    LOTR
    There's Something About Mary
    Star Wars IV and V
    Die Hard
    The Wild Bunch
    Blade Runner
    Duck Soup
    The Godfather
    Batman Begins
    The Game - Fincher
    Marvel's The Avengers

I like to get lost in ...

    The Seventh Seal [1957]

... a touching reminder of when plagues were fun.

Ray (2004) sucked me in and I first saw it as a kid. Probably the only music biopic movie that's done that.

There are a lot of great movie suggestions over on the “Random film thread....”

^lol. My god that's a powerful logline. I hope the evil stranger isn't Christopher Lloyd.
