Default Take on contacting Circle of Confusion et al

I'm about to send a group of concise queries to various prod cos. Circle of Confusion is at the top of my list & my offering is LOW budget thrillers. Minimal location & characters, clever premise etc.

Has anyone here had any luck in contacting CoC or any similar company? Any comments? I'm also having good response in contacting individual filmmakers who are actively looking for low budget features.

Sure. Fire away. I have been read over there a number of times, always by their literary management side though. They manage more than they tend to produce.

I was repped there for years before my manager left and I went with him. Low budget thrillers are perfectly fine for them. It's all about the writing. Good luck!

I got a meeting with David Alpert there some years ago and then developed a project with a junior manager, but nothing came of it in the end.

Great bunch of guys, very open to ideas and I enjoyed the experience.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I'd heard good things about Circle of Confusion but I wanted to get more objective accounts.

I'll follow up.
