  • Sitcoms that you still love

I still enjoy watching reruns of "The King of Queens" and "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Even some of the old goofy ones, such as "Alf" were hilarious for the most part.

Do you remember some of the sitcoms that you still love, but have gone off the air?

If I see that Friends is on, I will watch it, no matter the episode, and I will still laugh.

For me, FRASIER remains the gold standard of sitcoms. Not sure which category CURB falls into, but it's one of my favourite TV shows as well. Beside these I still enjoy BECKER. It's just too easy for me to identify with these shows' somewhat prickly and detached main characters.

Golden Girls, and I'm saying this a 30 something American male. something about the chemistry between them and the writing. Still chuckle today.

I devoured the first 4 seasons of How I Met Your Mother, and every episode gave me a good laugh. Season 5 and 6 is where the show sort of falls off. Less laughs. Less fun. But I still enjoy the anticipation of seeing the mom. I love the episodes that give you little clues to who she is. It's like I can't stop watching until I finally see her. That show is really well written, in my opinion. The initial episodes are brilliant.

And as you can see, my avatar is a character from the show.
I guess I might as well call it my favorite show.

Such an obvious answer, but nothing, and I mean nothing beats Seinfeld.

                    Always loved Friends as well.

And nothing will ever beat The Office (UK).

                    And Fawlty Towers.

I watch Frasier most days, even though I've seen every episode 20 times each. Love it.

Can't believe that I missed mentioning that one! Thanks so much for bringing it up. Watched Golden Girls all of the time. And I agree, there definitely was something about the chemistry between them.

The theme song from that show, "Thank You for Being a Friend," in my opinion, is an all-time classic!

Still love hundreds of old sitcoms (some because they were terrible), but ones that still have most of their comedic moments intact and probably will continue that way for quite some time are:

                              Andy Griffith Show
                              Soap
                              Cheers
                              Seinfeld
                              Friends
                              Arrested Development
                              Maude
                              WKRP
                              Leave it to Beaver
Newhart and the Bob Newhart Show
                              Married with Children
                              Mary Tyler Moore
