  • Number of Acts and Scenes in a one hour TV drama

Right now, is it best to write a one-hour TV drama in 5 or 6 acts rather than 4; and, generally, how many scenes are there per act and in total? Thanks.

The six-act structure is becoming rather popular in TV, though the traditional Teaser/4-act structure is still very much alive and kicking. There really is no better way to go scenario on this one. And there really isn't a scene limit per act. Don't worry about that. At all.
