    Zombieland.

That's all I've got, because it's the only one I've ever seen.

I've seen two. Other one is Shaun of the Dead. Both funny.

          ALL OF 'EM!

The original DAWN OF THE DEAD.

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD was the first "funny" one. More campy than jokes though. Best watched with a six pack.

BRAINDEAD (a.k.a. DEAD ALIVE) from the director of LoTR.

ZOMBIE 2 has a zombie fighting a freaking shark.

Really? Dude, there's a mountain of rotting goodness out there for you to explore.

Zombieland was an instant classic, but there's other pics that are just as good, if not close.

For the OP - Adam's list is solid, but you definitely can't go past the original [REC].

Return Of The Living Dead comes with a very high recommendation.

I actually thought it was going to be serious the first time I saw it. Talk about an experience!

Are we talking movies with real zombies....? If yes, I'd recommend pretty much anything with Nicholas Cage in it.....

I like zombie movies because of the whole survivalist aspect. That said, Dawn of the Dead (2004) is my favourite. I've watched it a dozen times. Never get tired of it.

Let's not forget the the Lucio Fulci classics like The Beyond, City of the Living Dead, and, of course, Zombie (zombie vs. shark, how can you go wrong?).

Re: I need entertaining zombie movies. Which ones?

I enjoyed the first Resident Evil movie. If you like the game you might be honked off because it doesn't abide by the cutscenes, but if you just take it on its own it's fun.

Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things is interesting... an hour of bad comedy amd even worse fashion (directed by the guy who brought you Porky's and A Christmas Story), but the final half hour delivers with the zombie rising and attack.

Versus is a Japanese Yakuza/zombie hybrid that seriously kicks ass. Hyperkinetic and funky.

Let Sleeping Corpses Lie is a 70's Spanish/British collab that has atmosphere to spare, and is surprisingly unsettling.

Bad Taste is another Peter Jackson zomedy.

Pontypool is an interesting approach to the genre... although more talk than rock, it still has its own little take that is entertaining.

And while Plane Dead has nothing new to offer, it still is funny and moves fast. Pretty cool for a cheapie.

Although I'll still opine that the original Night of the Living Dead is still the best zombie film. I like how they approached the zombies... low on the prosthetics and career zombies (bakers and nuns and softball players) that pepper Romero's latter movies, I think they're spookier looking just like befuddled neighbors.
