He requested a script. I sent it. Now I guess I know why I haven't heard back (yeah, I guess it could have been a silent pass, but this lets me cling to my fantasy just a little longer)

... guess I need to give them a call and see if someone else has it.

They're very reputable producers from what I can tell.
I'd say it's definitely worth a shot, Tucson, 'cause he's long gone now. Best of luck.

Thanks my friend, I like the idea of jumping on this glimmer of hope... best of luck to you, too. Given the family name, I'm sure they have enough $$$ for both of us!

I sent a query off to Anu yesterday. She responded today, requesting a timeline for the script I mentioned, liked it, and requested the script with a release. This was all within a few hours of each other.

These people are speedy as hell. I couldn't be happier.

Hey man, I was gonna give it to you eventually. I didn't want them to get bombarded with scripts right when I had just sent mine off is all.

Peace.

I'm just going to say this. With all the years they've been going (and I could be wrong about this=>) they really have little going on with regards to FILM pre/post/production, and even produced content.

Anu Valia just replaced Jake Perron--that may have something to do with it.

I agree with EJ on this. I met the DOD at ALP 10 years ago at a conference. She was gone soon after that. I'm aware of at least 5 different DOD's at the company since then. My guess is that DOD's leave out of frustration because the company doesn't produce anything it develops internally. Now that's just a guess, but they've only produced 2 features since 2002 and both had budgets under $2 million.
