How on Earth does he acquire in-development scripts? Why not just find out who sends them to him and shame those individuals till they stop doing it? Cutting off his supply would go a long way toward avoiding these debacles. It seems unlikely that with his reputation, his circle of suppliers could be very extensive.

        Interns? Assistants? That's my guess.

If studios felt motivated enough to cut off his "suppliers," they could much more easily sick their attorneys on him...

Interesting. Just been emailing Carson since he offered to send the email chain from Bobby the co-writer of Slaughter.

Seems Bobby did indeed tell him to go ahead and review whatever draft he had. I did however point out that, knowing Bobby had slight reservations, he should have checked with all parties connected with the project. Nathan included.

In any case, it brought out some interesting information which (although he never said it shouldn't be shared) I won't divulge here.

Since I respect the decision, I'll respect the decision-maker until he reveals the development on Wednesday.

But you can probably work it out. When bridges are being burned sometimes the only way to fan the flames is to accept a wind of change.

Ughh..... can't believe I wrote it like that!

Must be incredibly difficult to take the high road on this one.

Sounds like one writer may of gone behind another's back. What's happening wednesday, Alex?

Carson has my e-mail address. I have no doubt a minion of his told him of this thread. Carson could have contacted me easily if ANYTHING I wrote was false.

Those poor, victimized writers. All they wanted to do was bring a little more torture porn into the world.

                      What the....

So why is he acting like a baby now it got a bad rating?

How did he manage to become a writer if he can't even write a coherent easy to understand E-Mail?

If this indeed is the case, I'm back on Carson's side (for this review).

Not only did the writer know he would get reviewed but he gave him the green light.

Assuming Harbinger is telling the truth. (lol)

I saw the email chain as well. Technically he did tell Carson to go ahead, but the wording sounded like he was tired and resigned. It was pretty clear he wasn't proud of the draft. Regardless, this is why you don't review scripts in production. He also should have removed it immediately, and without a snarky remark about the writers.

But perhaps this was the last lesson he needed to push him to change his ways. I hope so.

I don't care if he sounded tired and resigned. All he had to do was 'Don't review this script' and the case would've been clear.

Worst thing is that he's rallying people on Twitter/Comments section against Carson and then this comes out!

Imma go on Twitter and tell Bobby he suffers from Attention seeking syndrome.

Yeah, let's keep an open mind on that one.

I have not seen this e-mail chain, but I can tell you that Nathan was/is emphatic. I've seen the e-mail he sent to Carson. He told Carson NO and there can be no misunderstanding about that. But irregardless of who said what when, once Carson knew that Nathan was opposed he should not have run the review.

He's not rallying anything on Twitter. He hasn't even posted about it. And after he made his initial comments on the original post, he didn't say anything else about it.
