  • Lone Wolf on TCM

TCM is showing 3 films in the Lone Wolf series with Warren William, starting this Saturday morning: http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/81717.../articles.html

Anyone else a fan of the series and Warren William? Great bio of him came out recently. He was best in precodes like Employees Entrance, also in the Perry Mason series. Lone Wolf series came late in his career but I think he's just as good and the films are neat little capers. And a great sidekick -- Eric Blore.

His bio is a great read, not only about WW but also for history of the studio era. It's on kindle now, for a while just available as a pricey paperback: http://www.amazon.com/Warren-William.../dp/0786448784

He did four Perry Mason movies, all good; and great in The Mouthpiece, Beauty and the Boss, and one of the best precodes, Skyscraper Souls. He's also fun as a wily press agent in Go West, Young Man with Mae West. Very underrated star.
