Recently ordered Bill's book and flipped through it. Looks like a fun read! I'll write a review when done. BTW, thanks for the personal message sir.
I've already made good use of the Producer's Guide. There's an article on Cold Calling. An excellent article. Pitch the receptionist. Hell's bells, what a great idea! This book just might get me repped. By the by, my real name is not Keith. Somethin' to do with that TV show America's Most Wanted. :lol Bill, I'm kinda curious. Is there a reason you don't submit your book to a publishing company? They'll snatch it up brother! |

Hope you enjoy the book.
It originally went out to 3 publishers, and all said the same thing - forget the action stuff andf turn it into a mainstream screenwriting book. I thought they were crazy - there were a million mainstream books out there. Not a single book on any sort of genre. So I called a printer, published the book myself. Now my book is #1 seller in Sam French book stores and #11 on Amazon (screenwriting books) and those 3 publishers have all asked if they can publish the book. I said no - why do I need them now? (But I've talked to all 3 on-and-off about my next couple of books.) Oh - and now there are a bunch of genre-specific screenwriting books on the shelves. I was the first. - Bill (makes 100% instead of 12%) PS: I have no ad budget - so, if you like the book, tell your friends to go to my website. PPS: Hey - you were the guy who asked for all kinds of free stuff because you knew me from Done Deal, right? |

An interesting background to your book. I'm reading it slowly, hilighting stuff along the way. Needless to say, I like your various mentions of Steven Seagal.
