Once you have one, where do you send it?

I'm pretty new to the board so this is just my 2c, but I don't think you necessarily send a treatment anywhere. By this I mean, you might write one for yourself prior to writing the script, or a producer might ask you for a treatment if you're developing a script together.
I think screenwriters sell scripts and (if very fortunate) pitches, but I don't think they'd sell a treatment.
Similarly, managers & agents will want to see a finished spec not a treatment.
However, maybe some more experienced hands here have a different opinion?
    Cheers,
    Chris

the only time you send a treatment to someone is if someone asks you to work on a pitch and they want to know what your pitch is going to cover.

or if you are on assignment and you are obligated to provide a treatment as one of your steps or you offer to show your treatment for feedback.

otherwise you never send a treatment.
