While doing my "research" (err...Googling) of agents/managers - I find a few of them have myspace accounts.
So I ask you...is it considered bad form/questionable to query these managers/agents via their myspace accounts? Or is it fair game if thery're out there? Just wanted to get a gauge from the folks here. |

Fire away.
No such thing as bad form for an unrepped writer. If they like your logline then I'm sure they'll request the script. Not like they'll be like "oh, i really LOVE the sound of that! Just too bad he messaged me through myspace." They're probably using myspace to put themselves out there more, anyways. |

I've used it to kinda "snoop" on certain reps that I've been in talks with. I did a search on Myspace on the last 4 managers that have shown interest in my work and 3 of them had accounts. I even added one as a friend, lol.
It's interesting to see a personal side of them because out of those 3 pages, 2 of them were personal pages that barely mentioned their profession.

I think you'd actually be surprised just how much business is done via myspace in today's world. It amazes me to no end in Hollywood alone.
