Give credit where credit is due. These leads came from Creative Screenwriting.

jim,
i googled the keywords production + companies + prodcos + unsolicited + queries limama, i went back and looked and saw references to creative screenwriting. however, i simply copied and pasted contact information that's now disseminated across the internet. it's not like it's copyrighted material. no need to get so pissy. |

For a company that's been around 3 years, I find it surprising that I can't find any info on BARRACUDA, even though I can find info on the movies mentioned. Also, does a generic AOL address scare anyone else?
Just the skeptical side in me reaching out. |

yeah, me too. both the yahoo and aol addresses prompted me to insert the "proceed at your own risk" comment.
of course, i just ripped that phrase off of a road sign back in louisiana, so i suppose i should credit the louisiana department of public safety, eh, limama? |

William,
From the site you referred to: "Top Stories in ProdCo's Rules for Production Companies That Will Accept Unsolicited Query Letters Date Created: Mar 25, 2005, 11:34 AM Creative Screenwriting is publishing the names and contact information of production companies that will accept unsolicited query letters. They have listed some rules for using this contact information and I reproduce them here:" Basically, this site cut and pasted the article from CS. I don't feel I was being prissy at all. |

i said i went back and noticed that. i was looking for prodcos, not references to their source. and, again, it's not copyrighted material, and CS stands to lose no revenue or credibility by me posting what i did.
and i said "pissy", not "prissy". |
