I hate to say this, but I agree, don't get your hopes up. I don't think he takes on new clients very often. Very rare.
He's reading a couple of mine, and one is a rewrite of one that he's read before, but he did tell me that he's way behind in his reading, so I would guess that it could take 12+ weeks to hear back from him. |

He's got one of my comedies right now as well. I parted ways with my former manager a few months back and have just started the search for a new one. He's one of the first I reached out to, esp because I had heard some good things.

A great friend to the aspiring writer. Aaron has read several of my scripts, sometimes multiple drafts. Over time, he seems to have gone away from looking for writers to manage and develop material with, and is more focused on specs he can produce. That is to say, don't expect lots of notes or feedback unless your concept/story totally kicks ass.

Aaron Kaplan is cool and kind as can be.
And in this business...that's a god send. Believe me...his karma's gonna be great for a long time. He's read one of my scripts...passed on it because it was a bit tough for him to try and submit...a very dark, yet powerful dramatic action - thriller, but told me to submit another logline. I recently did...and he asked me to submit the next script which I just did. So...Aaron's cool. |

That's all good to hear. Guess I'll just sit back and see what happens now.
