Default Jupiter Moon

I just completed a marathon viewing of 150 episodes. (no comments about my sanity, please) Does anyone know if there are more episodes? Or is that all there is?

I did notice (if I'm correct) there's a piece of artwork hanging in Professor Brelan's room that is also hanging in the head alien's office in the movie This Island Earth.

You mean THE Jupiter Moon?? I didn't know anyone else knew this series existed! Me and my nieces and nephew watched it faithfully when it was aired in the UK (until BSB got assimilated by the Skyborg). BSB was a great little network, we still miss Galaxy channel! That's probably nostalgia talking, but yes we were disappointed when they pulled the plug.

So did you buy/rent tapes or DVD, or what? Not sure if it's available over here... must be... just never seen it showing up in previous searches.

Can't recall that artwork but you've got me curious.

I'd have to see it to be sure but this might have been one of those shows I watched as a kid then forgot just enough about to prevent me from ever finding episodes later on in life but not enough to make me lose my die hard child fascination with. If this is that show, if, I'm going to include you in my will Bradley. No kidding, you'll be inheriting a plasma tv and a needy cat. And what will soon be my extensive collection of Jupiter Moon episodes sloppily burned to dvd.

This must be the "one". Unless there is another 150+ episode of a sci fi series.

It's British, set in the near future.
It's about 10% science fiction, 10% adult drama, 80% teenage soap opera.
It mostly takes place on an orbiting university around Jupiter.

It's available on Amazon in four box sets. I saw it on Netflix (half of it was available on "Watch Now").

Don't ask me why but Nickelodeon, not sure if you're aware of Nickelodeon across the pond, or if you even are across the pond, or if people actually say across the pond, but the kids channel Nickelodeon played a bunch of british tv shows about a decade and a half ago and I've been desperately searching for them ever since. Anyone remember a show called Tomorrow People or Tomorrow Kids or something like that, about kids who could telepot?

The Tomorrow People is available on Netflix. It does sound like what you're talking about.

I'll give it a look, but it will take a while before it works it way up my queue.

Back to Jupiter Moon. It ends with a cliff hanger with everyone abandoning ship and two left to die, passed out in com. Is that all there is?

No one knows, in the UK they only showed x number of eps before the network went off the air, you've seen more than any other viewer alive.

Maybe that's true, but not because the DVD's aren't available to everyone.

Most people won't be able to get past episode 3.

Even if you like young British birds prancing around in short skin-tight dresses, up to episode 8 might be all anyone can tolerate.

Fair enough, tho' they weren't a few years back when we checked, I believe we bought Robin of Sherwood the complete series on VHS instead!

That was what I feared -- nostalgia warping the reality of the situation.

Can't/won't argue with that but I must ask, sir, how then could you possibly complete a marathon viewing of 150 episodes?
