Hi everybody. I have a question that a writer friend of mine had (she says she hasn't had a chance to join DD) and I thought I'd post it here.
Anyway, she submitted her synopsis to Benderspink but apparently they want a logline only before deciding to request her script. I really don't know if that's the norm for them. Does anybody know? Thanks for any responses. |

It's normal. Submitting anything else, synopsis or script, is usually not done. Unless they know you, and like you...then they may just ask to see the script first.

It can throw ya cause their website asks for a synopsis. They asked me also for the logline a few months back.

Thanks for your responses, RGF and blade. Yeah, the synopsis thing on their website is the thing that had my friend confused. She felt that they were putting her through the ringer. Hahaha.

I know I'm kind of late, but Benderspink wants you to use subtitles when you submit. You can send the same letter, but you should break it up into sections. They don't really want to read anything extra.
