Default Dollhouse

Underwhelming is the word I'd use.

Certainly didn't suck and certainly didn't go over like gang busters.

No witty banter which is fine.

No pilot is ever perfect.

This second pilot was better than the Train Job for Firefly at least.

So, anyone hedging bets on how long before it's canceled?

Eliza Dushku is neat.

It was alright. Not too sure how compelling Echo is as a main character, she may be more interesting down the line.

I'll give it a chance because it's Whedon and I'm sure he'll figure it out down the line, but nowhere near as good a start as some of his other shows.

Exactly. He set the bar for genre shows.

Was it my imagination or was the sound design really awkward. I could barely hear any dialogue so I crank the volume and it cuts to earth shakingly loud motorcycles, then back to hushed dialogue. I opted to turn it off in favor of watching it on hulu with headphones, for my neighbors sake.

Friday Night's Ratings...

Wow, JLH's frontage, er, I mean, her show pulls in that many people, eh?

Jennifer Love Hewitt is neat, but not as neat as Eliza Dushku.

It was almost too 'plain' too 'plaid in writing' I dunno, I wanted more.

I did not watch this and I know Friday night is a graveyard for television shows but it was easy to pick why this would tank. I watched the commercial four times and I still had no idea what it was about.
